Framatome UK is seeking an experienced Welder to join our Avonmouth team. The role involves welding high-integrity Stainless Steel fabrications for nuclear projects, following strict quality and safety standards in a regulated environment.

Desirable candidates will hold ISO 9606-1 qualifications, have strong interpretation of engineering drawings, and contribute to continuous improvement in fabrication and welding processes while adhering to all safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience welding stainless steel in regulated environments.
• Welding qualifications in ISO 9606-1 are required.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and weld maps.

Responsibilities

• Weld high-integrity stainless steel fabrications in the nuclear sector per ISO 5817.
• Follow weld procedures per ISO 15609.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with regulations.
