Job summary

Great British Energy - Nuclear, Warrington-based, is seeking a Supply Chain Quality Lead to drive quality across the SMR programme's supplier base. You will collaborate with the project team and extended supply chain to ensure right-first-time delivery while improving safety, performance, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Supply Chain Quality role.
• Extensive experience in the UK Nuclear sector.
• Knowledge of UK and international standards for the UK Nuclear sector.
• Quality management expertise with supply chain focus.
• Experience in construction with Mechanical, Civil and electrical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop a supply chain quality strategy and requirements for the project.
• Conduct supplier assessments to verify quality programmes.
• Onboard new suppliers with quality and nuclear safety guidance.
• Carry out supplier validation audits and APQP lead strategy.
• Introduce Lean, Six Sigma, Poka-Yoke, FMEA for quality improvement.
• Develop IMS documents and conduct internal audits.
• Create KPIs for supplier quality and onboarding.
