Job summary

NUVIA Aldermaston is seeking a decommissioning operative to safely undertake plant operations, dismantling and related activities on nuclear facilities. You will work to approved procedures, support site safety and environmental standards, and contribute to projects of national significance.

The role requires practical knowledge of radiological conditions, PPE/RPE, and tooling with a flexible, team-based approach. A valid CSCS card and driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

Basic radiological awareness and site safety training.
Proof of ability to read and follow written procedures.

Responsibilities

Decontaminate plant, equipment and facilities.
Dismantle and size reduce plant and equipment.
Operate process plant and materials handling equipment.
