Job summary

Assystem GmbH is seeking a site-based mechanical construction assurance specialist in Bridgwater, England. Five days a week on a major nuclear construction project, you will monitor and verify mechanical construction activities to support safe, high-quality delivery of critical systems powering homes.

You will identify non-conformances, report them, record inspections and documentation, and coordinate between mechanical, piping and civil interfaces to ensure clear handover at project milestones.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and verify mechanical construction activities across assigned systems
• Identify, report, and support resolution of non-conformances or deviations
• Collaborate with quality and construction teams to maintain site standards
• Record inspections, track documentation, and verify completion before handover
• Assist with coordination between mechanical, piping, and civil interfaces during construction
