Job summary

Amey Group Services LTD is seeking an Approved Electrician to join the Electrical Team at the NRS Harwell Branch in Oxfordshire. This long-term, secure role offers consistent hours in a high-security, safety-critical environment where attention to detail and compliance with standards is essential.

You will perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance across client buildings, conduct inspections and testing (including PAT, emergency light, and RCD tests), install or repair equipment, and

Qualifications

• 18th Edition in electrical installation is required
• NVQ Level 3 in electro technical services (Electrical Installation)
• City & Guilds 2392/2394/95 testing and inspection
• City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ equivalent
• City & Guilds 2377 training or certification desirable

Responsibilities

• Duties include planned and reactive maintenance of buildings in the client portfolio
• Inspection and testing, emergency light testing, PAT testing, and RCD testing
• Installation of new equipment or replacement/repair of lamps and sockets
• Carry out ad hoc minor repairs and assist with building fabric maintenance
• Contractor escort duties on site
