The programme provides on-site exposure with hybrid flexibility, a starting salary of £35,000, and a clear progression towards Safety Case Engineer roles within the Nuclear sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in an Engineering, Science or Maths subject is required.
• Postgraduate qualification such as MSc or MEng in Nuclear Science would be valuable.
• Security clearance requirements may affect eligibility for this programme.

Responsibilities

• Support hazard studies and safety reviews as part of the Nuclear Safety Case development.
• Assist in producing technical assessments for safe nuclear operations.
• Contribute to developing and maintaining safety documentation to ALARP principles.
• Learn hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety case development with experienced engineers.
