Job summary

WSP is seeking experienced professionals to join the Environmental Permitting & Nuclear Regulation team in a Senior Consultant or Principal Consultant role. You will support nationally significant nuclear projects, delivering regulatory guidance, permits, and environmental assessments across the UK.

You will collaborate with a growing team, mentor early career colleagues, and work flexibly across WSP offices with national travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in nuclear regulation, environmental permitting, safety and sustainability.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements, licensing processes and BAT/ALARP principles.
• Experience with environmental impact assessments and safety/environmental cases.

Responsibilities

• Advise reactor vendors, developers and licensees on regulatory requirements.
• Deliver permitting, licensing and consenting for nuclear projects.
• Develop Environmental Cases and demonstrate Best Available Techniques.
• Support clients to meet high standards of safety, security and sustainability.
