Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Technical Principal - Nuclear Quality Management to lead execution strategy across projects or portfolios in the Energy unit. You will embed quality at every stage, prevent issues, and drive continuous improvement while engaging with clients, SLT and multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires strong communication with clients and senior leadership, and a track record in regulated nuclear projects, ISO standards, and audit leadership. Hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor qualification.
• Membership of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) or working towards Chartership.
• Significant experience in a highly regulated industry in a quality supervision role.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead and maintain a high‑performing integrated project team with focus on capability and efficiency.
• Develop and deliver robust project strategies and plans to achieve baselines and objectives.
• Provide strategic quality guidance to SLT and SHEQ Lead across the project portfolio.
• Ensure quality management systems align with ISO 9001 and ISO 19443 requirements.
• Establish quality plans and ensure teams understand and apply them.
