Rolls-Royce SMR is seeking a Quality Project Lead to drive the implementation of nuclear quality requirements across contracts and work packages. Based hybrid from Derby, Manchester or Warrington, you will coordinate readiness, audits, and technical reviews, linking engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to ensure compliant delivery.

You will champion continuous improvement, manage early risks, and help embed quality throughout design, procurement, fabrication, and handover, contributing

Qualifications

• Strong background in nuclear engineering and quality assurance.
• Experience applying nuclear/defence codes and standards.
• Understanding of nuclear safety principles and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in technical reviews and documentation assessment.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Support quality arrangements across assigned contracts and work packages.
• Ensure suppliers, contractors, and internal teams apply nuclear quality requirements.
• Identify gaps, weaknesses, or risks in quality implementation and support corrective actions.
• Coordinate surveillance activities and readiness processes across functions.
• Provide technical support to customer deliverables.
