Job summary

Springfields Fuels Ltd, located at the Springfields Fuel site near Preston, invites applications for a Project Controls Manager. You will lead project controls across decommissioning and capital investment programmes, developing schedules, managing risk, governance, and stakeholder engagement.

You will report to the Head of Project Controls or Programme/Project Manager and ensure compliance with regulatory and client requirements throughout project delivery.

Qualifications

• Project management or project controls experience within complex programmes or projects.
• Experience with project planning and scheduling techniques.
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6.
• Working knowledge of SAP Project Systems (PS).
• Experience of project risk management and quantitative risk analysis.
• Understanding of capital investment (CAPEX) project delivery.
• Experience of monthly project performance reporting.
• Knowledge of stage-gate governance processes.
• Understanding of organisational structures and project delivery frameworks.
• Knowledge of site operations and site stakeholder environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert project controls support across a portfolio of decommissioning and capital investment projects.
• Plan, schedule, risk manage, govern, report and engage stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory, organisational, and client requirements.
• Based at Springfields Fuel site near Preston and report to the Head of Project Controls, Programme Controls Manager, or Project Manager.
