Job summary

NEO2 is seeking a CAD Technician to join our Bristol-based team on major projects including Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C. You will contribute to electrical installation design through AVEVA E3D modelling, cable routing, and 3D cable tray development within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

The role requires an engineering degree or equivalent CAD experience, strong English, and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating with other disciplines in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate or CAD Technician required.
• Engineering degree or at least 2 years of experience in CAD design and 3D modelling.
• Proven experience with AVEVA E3D/PDMS and understanding of engineering design principles.
• Experience in cable routing, cable tray design, BIM environments, or industrial/nuclear projects would be advantageous.
• Autonomous, organized, and team-oriented, with strong communication skills.
• Fluent English is essential; French would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Route cables in AVEVA E3D based on project inputs and cable schedules.
• Define cable tray layouts and routing strategies within industrial facilities.
• Develop and maintain 3D cable tray models, from preliminary routing to detailed design.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure effective integration of systems.
• Design cable tray support arrangements in accordance with project requirements and engineering best practices.
