Nuclear Graduates invites physics graduates to join a two-year programme supported by leading industry sponsors. You will work across nuclear analysis, radiation transport, and safety-focused projects, gaining practical experience and professional development.

Roles are located with sponsoring organisations and Energus, with travel when needed. Applicants should hold a 2:2 or higher in physics or related fields, be willing to travel, and demonstrate an interest in nuclear physics and scripting

Qualifications

• Some experience in using code or scripting languages.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop the technical skills needed to assess the physics of a nuclear reactor.
• Develop the technical skills needed to perform radiation shielding calculations and dose assessments.
• Use nuclear codes and radiation transport tools to support safety analyses and reactor design.
