Job summary

KBR, based near Whitehaven in Cumbria, is seeking a Head of Projects to define, deliver and govern a portfolio of high-value, high-risk nuclear projects of national importance. You will lead a multi-discipline team, align with the PPP framework, and ensure delivery within scope, schedule, cost and safety requirements.

Reporting to the Project Delivery Director, you will manage governance, risk, supplier performance, and stakeholder engagement at national and international levels, maintaining

Qualifications

• Senior-level project leadership with delivery of large multi-disciplinary programmes.
• Experience in safety-critical or nuclear industry contexts.
• Ability to manage complex approvals and government interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Promotes & instils desired project behaviours prioritising nuclear safety & security culture.
• Head of Projects reports to the Project Delivery Director and PPP Management Board.
• Directs delivery of projects in line with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Establishes project environments and structures for success.
• Manages supply chain and interfaces with customers, stakeholders and regulators.
• Leads strategic negotiations with key partners and government bodies.
