An established industry player is seeking a motivated Apprentice Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their multi-disciplinary team. The Nuclear Medicine department at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH), currently QSI accredited, is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic Apprentice Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will work alongside Radiographers/Technologists, Nursing Staff, Admin Staff, Clinical Scientists, and Radiology Consultants, demonstrating the NNUH PRIDE values.
The department features three state-of-the-art Symbia Intevo Bold SPECT/CT scanners. It performs approximately 7,500 examinations annually, offering a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine imaging and procedures for patients across Norfolk and Suffolk. NNUH is centrally located in Norfolk, near the Norfolk Broads and beaches, close to Norwich city.
The trainee will have the opportunity to commence the position prior to studying a fully funded 3-year BSc (Hons) in Healthcare Science apprenticeship at the University of West England (UWE). This degree apprenticeship is designed for healthcare workers aiming to develop in medical physics and specialise in Nuclear Medicine.
Full-time hours: 37.5 per week

Salary: £26,530 to £36,483 per annum, pro-rata.
