Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Clinical Scientist to lead diagnostic imaging and radionuclide therapy services. You will optimise protocols, undertake complex data analysis, and ensure quality control of imaging equipment and radiopharmaceuticals.

You will join a multidisciplinary team, contribute to research, teaching, and service development, and help translate scientific principles into improved patient care within the NHS.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
• Strong background in nuclear medicine imaging and therapy techniques.
• Experience with quantitative image analysis and protocol optimisation.
• Ability to provide scientific input to clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of diagnostic imaging and radionuclide therapy services.
• Optimise imaging protocols and undertake quantitative image analysis.
• Perform and oversee quality control of imaging equipment and radiopharmaceuticals.
• Provide scientific advice to clinicians, radiographers and technologists.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in CPD activities.
