Job summary

Employment Solutions Ltd in the United Kingdom seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a specialist engineering team delivering complex projects across the nuclear sector. You will support all phases from concept and FEED studies through to detailed design, commissioning and operational support.

This role suits a mechanical engineer with experience in regulated industries who enjoys solving challenging problems, producing robust engineering solutions, and working with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical engineering studies, designs and technical assessments across all project phases from FEED through to commissioning
• Produce and review engineering documentation including technical notes, P&IDs, mechanical drawings, specifications and substantiation reports
• Support projects involving mechanical handling systems, powder processing technologies and specialist mechanical equipment
• Liaise with suppliers and review technical documentation to ensure compliance with project and regulatory requirements
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering teams and support operational and project delivery activities across regulated sites
