Job summary

EDF Energy Limited is recruiting a Material Controller (AB2) at Hinkley Point C to manage stock levels and ensure suitable inspection equipment, consumables and materials are available on site. You will be the Inspection Equipment Focal Point, oversee calibration dates, maintenance and security controls, and coordinate with SMEs and the Warehouse team.

This role supports the project’s safety and quality standards within a major nuclear build and offers opportunities to apply transferable skills

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the receipt and distribution of permanent construction materials, consumables and sundries.
• Perform all associated admin and clerical duties to ensure record keeping and compliance.
• Liaise with the SME’s and act as intermediary to raise material requests on their behalf and communicate the progression of those orders.
• Liaise with the Warehouse team to ensure correct handling and storage of materials is taking place.
• Conduct audits on stock and carry out any care and maintenance checks as and when required.
