Job summary

Framatome UK is seeking a Lifting Superintendent for the Hinkley Point C project in Bridgwater. You will oversee mechanical lifting activities, review lift plans, and ensure safe systems of work in line with nuclear safety standards.

You will lead lift planning with sub-contractors, conduct assurance checks, and ensure compliance with lifting legislation and Framatome standards on a major construction site in the UK.

Qualifications

• Lift planning rigging operations (essential).
• Lift planning using cranes (preferred).
• AutoCAD proficiency (preferred).
• Experience in nuclear power or large industrial plants preferred.
• Experience on major construction projects (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation of lifting processes and procedures.
• Review lift plans for Framatome scope and ensure compliance.
• Carry out lifting assurance checks on equipment and accessories.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and brief lifting/rigging personnel.
• Ensure lift plans are reviewed to required standards and safe systems of work.
