Job summary

Westlakes Recruit is supporting a major UK nuclear programme with the appointment of an experienced Head of Quality - Nuclear Island. This senior leadership role leads the quality function across a significant project, ensuring delivery is safe, compliant, efficient and right first time, in a complex matrix environment.

You will develop a growing team (25-30 FTE at peak) and work with senior programme leadership, suppliers and governance reviews to embed quality across lifecycle, while

Qualifications

• Senior leader with delivery experience across major projects.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 19443:2018 requirements.
• Experience managing large, multidisciplinary quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Nuclear Island Quality Delivery function.
• Provide strategic quality leadership across major nuclear construction activities.
• Develop and mentor the quality team and establish governance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with project quality requirements and nuclear safety.
