Job summary

Egis Group is seeking a Project Manager to support the delivery of engineering services for one of the UK’s largest nuclear infrastructure projects. You will work with the EGIS Delivery Manager to coordinate planning, scope, budget and delivery performance across multiple workstreams.

This is a great opportunity to develop project management experience in a major engineering environment, engaging with multidisciplinary teams and international project management practices.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Experience in a project coordination or assistant project management role in engineering, construction, infrastructure or energy.
• Good understanding of project management principles: planning, cost control, scope and risk management.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret project data and produce clear reports.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Experience with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the EGIS Delivery Manager in day-to-day engineering delivery across multiple workstreams.
• Maintain integrated project schedules and monitor milestones; support recovery planning.
• Track scope, deliverables, assumptions and changes; report variances.
• Support budget and cost monitoring, forecasts and resource utilisation.
• Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports, dashboards and governance packs.
• Coordinate project reviews, capture actions and ensure follow-through.
