Job summary

Balfour Beatty is hiring for a Health, Safety & Wellbeing role to support Sizewell C infrastructure projects in the UK. The role focuses on monitoring HSW implementation from design through to execution, ensuring governance and regulatory compliance, and driving continuous safety improvement across teams.

Ideal candidates will have NEBOSH General Certificate and strong experience in incident investigations, reporting, and safety leadership on complex construction projects.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Proven experience in incident investigation and safety governance.
• Strong knowledge of UK Health and Safety regulatory framework.
• Ability to prepare formal written reports and publications on HSW topics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and provide HSW input from design to implementation.
• Ensure governance, compliance and legal obligations are met.
• Review and update project documentation and test the BMS.
• Deliver training and advisory sessions with HR teams.
• Promote a positive Health & Safety culture across projects.
