Job summary

Soletanche Bachy UK Zone is seeking an Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) professional to support operational teams on all HSE matters for the Sizewell C site. You will develop health and safety documentation, ensure compliance with legal and contract standards, and drive a culture of continual safety improvement.

The role focuses on advising project teams, delivering training, and leading investigations and audits to mitigate risk and protect staff, visitors and the public as the site

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of health and safety legislation and CDM 2015.
• Experience delivering HSE documentation and training.
• Experience with risk assessment processes and method statements.

Responsibilities

• Implement HSE strategy and ensure legal, contractual compliance.
• Provide expert HSE advice to project teams and clarify responsibilities.
• Promote a positive safety culture and challenge unsafe behaviours.
• Support risk assessments, method statements, and construction phase plans.
• Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and workforce competence training.
• Conduct audits and inspections, drive improvements, close gaps.
• Lead incident investigations and manage corrective actions.
