Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear is hiring an Electrical Control and Instrumentation Technician to assemble and wire electrical and electronic units at our Whetstone, Leicester site. You will interpret drawings, follow instructions and work within a certified quality management system.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical or electronic assembly and wiring activities.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, wiring schedules and build documentation.
• Experience assembling analogue electronic modules or printed circuit boards.
• Strong attention to detail within quality-controlled production environments.
• Confidence working to defined processes and documenting completed work accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assembling and wiring electrical and electronic units, panels and cubicles to approved instructions.
• Building analogue printed circuit boards using hand-soldered through-hole technologies.
• Wiring electrical and electronic devices, including cable management and termination.
• Following production planning and quality procedures within a certified quality system.
• Identifying variances and escalating issues to supervision for technical approval.
