Job summary

Amey is seeking a permanent On-Site Plumber to support our Nuclear Restoration Services contract on-site at Oldbury Power Station, Bristol (BS35 1RQ). The standard hours are 37.5 per week over a 4-day pattern, Monday–Wednesday 07:15–17:00 and Thursday 07:25–17:00.

You will carry out routine and non-routine maintenance, installation and repairs of pipework and sanitary fittings, mains water repairs, fault finding and risk assessments, and water heater service and installation.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating with maintenance experience.
Full UK Driving Licence required.
Desirable: Unvented ticket and Water Regulations ticket.
Experience in commercial FM or plumbing maintenance environments.

Responsibilities

Routine and non-routine maintenance, installation and repairs of pipework and sanitary fittings.
Mains water supply repairs.
Fault finding and repairs of life expired equipment.
Inspections, audits and risk assessments.
Service and installation of vented and unvented water heaters.
Assist with other routine maintenance tasks as needed.
Other duties commensurate with the role.
