Job summary

Qualifications

  • Previous Design Authority experience, including design change processes and engineering governance.
  • Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering background with experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong understanding of engineering substantiation, design intent and nuclear infrastructure requirements.
  • Knowledge of relevant British and international engineering standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage, prioritise and coordinate the workload of technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering activities associated with design change, engineering substantiation and assurance of Nuclear Safety Implicated Structures, Systems and Components.
  • Provide technical leadership across a range of complex engineering activities in a regulated environment.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, design intent and safety standards while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
