Job summary

ALTEN is seeking an experienced Quality Management Lead to join a major nuclear new-build programme, overseeing quality across electrical equipment from manufacturing through commissioning. The role focuses on quality oversight of HV/LV switchboards, battery systems, and related equipment, with direct engagement with suppliers, project teams and site stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical engineering background with quality, supplier quality or manufacturing quality experience.
• Experience across manufacturing, installation and commissioning activities.
• Knowledge of QA/QC processes, NCR management, manufacturing surveillance and ITPs.
• Experience working within complex, multi-stakeholder projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality management activities throughout the complete project lifecycle.
• Develop and implement Project Quality Control Plans (PQCPs).
• Review and monitor Contractor Quality Assurance Plans (CQAPs).
• Coordinate manufacturing surveillance activities and supplier quality oversight.
• Manage non-conformances and drive timely resolution.
• Support supplier assessments and quality audits.
• Review Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Plans.
