Job summary

NUVIA in Warrington, Glasgow and Abingdon seeks an experienced Senior Engineer to define and distribute the scope of work, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery across nuclear projects. You will supervise design and engineering teams, manage subcontracts, liaise with clients and other disciplines, and drive project procedures, design reviews, HAZOPs, and safety compliance throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires a degree in engineering, progress toward Chartered Engineer status, a UK

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in a relevant technical / engineering discipline or demonstrable experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status.

Responsibilities

• Definition and distribution of scope of work to ensure safety, timeliness and quality.
• Delivery of design and engineering to meet design reviews and HAZOP requirements.
• Supervision of engineering staff and resource management.
• Management of subcontracts and project costs.
• Liaison with clients and other engineering disciplines.
• Project management including quality, progress and cost control.
• Safety culture development and compliance with CDM and safety regulations.
