Responsibilities
  • Designing and substantiating reactor cores using deterministic and stochastic methods.
  • Supporting manufacture of reactor cores.
  • Designing experiments and performing measurements in our critical benchmarking facility.
  • Supporting the UK submarine fleet with onboard tests and trials.
  • Collaborating with industry partners, civil nuclear, and academia.
  • Researching and developing new methods to maximize operational capability.
Candidate Profile

We seek candidates with:

  • A relevant degree (undergraduate, master's, or PhD) in engineering, physics, or a scientific field.
  • Experience in reactor physics or the nuclear industry.
  • An analytical mindset, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
