Job summary

Linxon seeks a Construction Manager to lead the onsite delivery of electrical balance-of-plant infrastructure at Hinkley Point C. You will direct civil, structural, mechanical and electrical works, ensuring safety, schedule, quality and budget are met.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate interfaces, and uphold nuclear safety standards while reporting to the Project Manager. This role offers a challenging, high-profile environment within a major UK infrastructure project.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC/HND in Construction Management, Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• SMSTS Certification.
• Strong understanding of CDM Regulations.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Membership of CIOB, ICE, IET, APM, or equivalent body.
• Nuclear industry qualifications and training.
• Temporary Works Coordinator certification.
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Lead all onsite construction activities.
• Drive a safety-first culture aligned with HPC and Linxon requirements.
• Ensure works meet project specs, schedule, quality and methodologies.
• Coordinate daily site operations across multiple contractors.
• Provide leadership to construction supervisors and contractor teams.
• Manage interfaces between civil, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning work.
