Job summary

Westlakes Recruit is seeking an experienced CFSI Lead / Manager to drive counterfeit, fraudulent and suspect item controls across a major UK nuclear delivery programme. You will provide specialist leadership across engineering, procurement, quality and suppliers, ensuring effective CFSI risk identification, assessment and governance.

The role requires deep knowledge of nuclear quality requirements, strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence across multi-tier supply chains.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing CFSI within nuclear or safety-critical environments.
• Strong QA, supplier quality, or supply chain assurance background.
• Experience with multi-tier supply chains and audits.
• Knowledge of nuclear quality requirements and ISO standards.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of the programme's CFSI management strategy.
• Identify and assess CFSI risks across complex nuclear supply chains.
• Develop and maintain CFSI processes, procedures and controls.
• Provide specialist advice to project, engineering, procurement, quality and commercial teams.
• Work with suppliers and subcontractors to embed CFSI controls within their QMS.
• Support supplier assessments, audits, inspections and assurance activities.
• Review supplier documentation for CFSI vulnerabilities.
• Support investigation and resolution of suspected CFSI items.
• Ensure reporting, escalation and corrective actions are implemented.
• Provide CFSI input into procurement, contracts and supplier qualification.
• Support quality governance and assurance reviews across the programme.
• Develop awareness of CFSI risks across project teams.
• Maintain records, reporting and metrics related to CFSI.
• Collaborate with Quality, Supplier Quality, Engineering and Delivery functions.
• Provide expert input into programme-level quality and supply chain risk management.
