Travel Health Nurse

We have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic registered health professionals with experience in vaccination practice and clinical consultation to join our team and be part of the new Travel Health Service in NHS Grampian.

Travel Health is a complex area requiring Nurses to have excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously. Responsibilities include undertaking comprehensive travel health consultations, risk assessments, management, and administering travel health advice. Vaccinations are delivered within the framework of NHS Grampian Patient Group Directive.

Essential Skills

• Registered Nurse with experience in nursing and vaccination practice, ideally with travel health experience.
• Previous experience assessing for and delivering vaccinations is essential.
• Travel health training would be advantageous but will be provided.

The posts are being offered as permanent positions. Part-time hours or job sharing will be considered. The role requires travel across NHS Grampian and occasional Saturday hours.
