A regional health service seeks an Assistant Commissioning Manager for the Baird and ANCHOR Project. The role involves planning and delivering operational commissioning for two new facilities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and relevant experience to effectively engage with clinical teams. This challenging position is a fixed-term role based in Aberdeen.
Assistant Commissioning Manager
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Baird and ANCHOR Project Office, Rosehill Annexe
Band: 7
Contract: Fixed Term/Secondment for 18 months
The Baird and ANCHOR Project is looking for a dynamic person to join the team in the role of Assistant Commissioning Manager. This project is in the final stages of the construction of two new facilities on the Foresterhill Health Campus – The Baird Family Hospital and The ANCHOR Centre.
What is the job?
The postholder will play a key role in the planning and delivery of successful operational commissioning of these new facilities.
Duties will include:
The ideal candidate will have relevant service/clinical experience with excellent organisational and communication skills. Experience of commissioning would be advantageous but is not as essential as the ability to work effectively with all services moving to the new facilities to put detailed planning in place. Specific priorities will be agreed with the person at appointment, dependant on relevant experience and skills.
This will be a very busy and challenging role which will require the successful person to be hard-working and resilient and able to work well with all colleagues and external agencies.
