Position: Senior Research Nurse (Specialities Team)

We are seeking to appoint a Senior Research Nurse to lead some of our established research nurse teams within NHS Grampian. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Band 6 Clinical Research Nurse eager to apply their clinical expertise and develop leadership skills.
The post holder will lead the daily coordination of a dedicated and motivated clinical research team of research nurses. The research portfolio in NHS Grampian has expanded over recent years, and this role will be pivotal in supporting this growth and meeting the demands for timely participant recruitment into studies.
The role involves working closely with the Lead Research Nurse in R&D to ensure research studies are adequately covered, improve patient recruitment into trials, and ensure adherence to research legislation, policies, and guidelines. The post aims to enhance the care of research participants and the quality of research data collected.
The post holder will support the Lead Research Nurse by undertaking line management of the research nurses and supervising their activities.
