NRSWA Site Supervisor - Fibre / Telecoms

Job Description

A Security Cleared NRSWA Site Supervisor with a background in Fibre rollout within the Telecoms industry is required. The NRSWA Site Supervisor will inspect and report on the quality compliance of onsite works undertaken by 3rd party subcontractors and legislative SHEQ standards.

Responsibilities

1. Undertake quality inspection activities on both in-progress and completed works, checking and reporting on compliance against the agreed scope, specification, and budget.
2. Produce site reports to the Delivery Manager following attendance at site to ensure delivery to SLA and provide customer updates.
3. Review escalated orders to support planners on delivery dependencies and assist with alternative solutions where required.
4. Review traffic management requirements and build issues, meeting suppliers on site as needed.
5. Prevent and correct immediate HS&E issues identified on site in support of the H&S Regional Leads and Supplier HSE Teams.
6. Report HS&E non-compliance to the H&S Regional Leads and support resolution efforts.
7. Report non-compliance regarding the competence and qualifications of personnel undertaking the works to the Regional H&S Lead and Suppliers HS&E Lead.
8. Drive best practices and supplier performance through managing rectification of non-compliant works and analyzing compliance reports for improvements.
9. Support delivery and service restoration, ensuring quality compliance during site visits to facilitate network restoration.
10. Gather evidence of third-party works where applicable.
11. Support assessment of new fibre network technologies as identified by the Standards and Solutions Team.
12. Facilitate training for suppliers and internal teams to improve performance and support new technologies.
13. Manage site operations, including CDM, NRSWA, supervision, fibre, and telecom-related tasks.
14. Ensure compliance with IOSH, NEBOSH, FTTP, FTTH, FTTx, and FTTC standards.

MUST HAVE Skills & Qualifications

1. Current SC Clearance.
2. NRSWA Supervisor certification or equivalent H&S certification (e.g., NEBOSH).
