Job Description

A Security Cleared NRSWA Site Supervisor with experience in Fibre rollout within the Telecoms industry is required. The role involves inspecting and reporting on the quality compliance of onsite works by third-party subcontractors, ensuring adherence to legislative SHEQ standards.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct quality inspections on in-progress and completed works, ensuring compliance with scope, specifications, and budget.
2. Prepare site reports for the Delivery Manager, ensuring delivery to SLA and providing updates to customers.
3. Review escalated orders to support planning and delivery, and assist with alternative solutions if needed.
4. Assess traffic management requirements and build issues, engaging with suppliers on-site.
5. Identify and address immediate HS&E issues on-site, supporting H&S Regional Leads and Supplier HSE Teams.
6. Report HS&E non-compliance and support resolution efforts.
7. Report on the competence and qualifications of personnel undertaking works.
8. Promote best practices and improve supplier performance by managing rectification of non-compliant works.
9. Analyze compliance reports to identify areas for improvement in delivery quality.
10. Support network restoration efforts, ensuring quality compliance during repairs.
11. Gather evidence of third-party works where applicable.
12. Assist in assessing new fibre network technologies.
13. Facilitate training for suppliers and internal teams to enhance performance and support new technologies.
14. Ensure adherence to CDM regulations.
15. Maintain experience in Fibre, Telecoms, and safety certifications such as IOSH and NEBOSH.
16. Experience with FTTP, FTTH, FTTX, and FTTC deployments is preferred.

Must Have Skills and Qualifications

• Current SC Clearance
• NRSWA Supervisor certification or NEBOSH (or equivalent H&S certification)
