Job summary

Skilled Careers is seeking a reliable NRSWA Gateman for a busy construction project in Bexhill, East Sussex. This full-time role runs for 8 months with a £18–£19 hourly pay and immediate start. Location is Bexhill, East Sussex.

You will be responsible for site access control, checking in visitors and deliveries, maintaining access records and ensuring only authorised personnel enter the site, while supporting safe vehicle movement and a safe working environment on site.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card is essential.
• Valid NRSWA qualification is essential.
• Experience as Gateman on construction or highway projects.
• Strong communication and safety awareness.
• Reliable and punctual with ability to work in a team.
• Full PPE provided.

Responsibilities

• Control access to and from the construction site.
• Check in visitors, deliveries and contractors.
• Maintain accurate site access records.
• Ensure only authorised personnel enter the site.
• Assist with safe vehicle movement on site.
• Support the site team with a safe, organised environment.
• Ensure all work complies with site health and safety procedures.
• Work around street works and highway operations per NRSWA requirements.
