Job overview

Join a pioneering team at the forefront of rehabilitation innovation. If you are passionate about transforming lives through research and innovative practices, this role offers a unique opportunity to lead and embed new technologies and research initiatives within the NRC.

The NRC Innovation Lead will support and coordinate innovation and research activities, liaising with stakeholders, managing a caseload, and working alongside the interdisciplinary team to implement new equipment and innovations in clinical settings.

This role is based initially at Linden Lodge, City Hospital, until the NRC building opens in summer 2025. You will be supported to grow professionally through various development programs and research opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and coordinate innovation activities, liaising with stakeholders to bring new trials and research opportunities.
  2. Manage your own caseload and work with the IDT to embed new technologies into practice.
  3. Provide teaching and support to staff on new technologies.
  4. Support the clinical workforce in innovation initiatives.
  5. Ensure compliance with research and professional standards.
  6. Represent the NRC at national and international conferences.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Current Healthcare Professional Registration
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant healthcare field
  • Master's Degree and PhD preferred
  • Experience in senior project management, change management, and multidisciplinary working
  • Proven track record in research, innovation, and teaching
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
