This role is crucial in providing senior leadership to nursing and support teams at the NRC, taking on deputy ward manager / team leader responsibilities to ensure high-quality, efficient, safe, and compassionate care in a rehabilitation setting.
As a key team member, you will contribute to shaping the future of rehabilitation services in the UK, initially regionally in the East Midlands, with plans to expand. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of significant changes in rehabilitation, supported by extensive developmental programmes and opportunities for research alongside our Professors in Rehabilitation.
Set to open in Spring 2025, the NRC will establish new standards of practice and outcomes for rehabilitation in England. Hosted by Nottingham University Hospitals Trust, it will be a purpose-built 70-bed facility on the Stanford Hall Rehabilitation Estate near Loughborough, co-located with the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre.
Academic partnerships with the University of Nottingham and Loughborough University will embed research, innovation, training, and education into clinical practice.
