Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist – Band 6

Location: Moray Health and Social Care Partnership, The Glassgreen Centre, Elgin

Vacancy Description: Band 6 SLT. Up to 37 hours per week available

Contract Type Fixed-Term Contract hours (Fixed term contract to end March 2026 and renegotiated as required). Part-time hours considered. Developmental Band 5-6 opportunity considered.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and innovative Speech and Language Therapist to join our friendly and supportive team working in the Moray area of Grampian. Our vision is:

“Helping the people of Moray to connect, communicate and achieve their potential.”

The post is community based with a mixed caseload, including children with additional support needs, and involves delivering intervention at universal, targeted and specialist levels. Our team has a strong commitment to working in partnership with clients, their families, other professionals and the wider community with a strong focus on developing capacity for self-management.

Moray offers a unique opportunity in that we are a small team based in a central location which enables regular informal as well as formal support. We are committed to staff development through joint working opportunities, access to specialist advice, formalised supervision and training.
