Job Description:

We are seeking enthusiastic, GPhC registered Pharmacy Technicians who are accredited checking technicians to join our developing healthcare team and deliver pharmacy services within a prison setting.

The ideal candidates will work well independently and as part of a team, with on-the-job support and training provided. Responsibilities include ensuring safe and efficient medicines supply processes for prisoners and the health centre, managing supplies of medicines, dressings, and appliances, and addressing pharmaceutical queries such as shortages. Promoting quality and cost-effective prescribing is also essential.

Applicants may have a background in community, primary care, or hospital pharmacy. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills are required. A full driving license and access to a car are essential.
