NHS Scotland is seeking a Band 3 Health Care Support Worker for a part-time role at Huntly Community Secondary Care Hub. We are seeking a Band 3 Health Care Support Worker for a 14.8-hour post to be worked over 2 days at Huntly Community Secondary Care Hub. This role involves supporting secondary care patients in the community with basic observations, phlebotomy, and urinalysis.
The position requires flexibility as there are multiple hubs across Aberdeen City and the Shire, with the majority of work based in Huntly. Access to a car and a valid driving license are essential, as is willingness to travel between hubs when needed.
Ideal candidates are hardworking, able to work under pressure, adaptable, and capable of prioritising their workload. You will assist in planning and executing daily operations at the hub, with remote support from an established team. Motivated, trustworthy, communicative, and aware of your limitations are key qualities. Experience in venipuncture is advantageous but full training will be provided.
Some lone working may be involved; experience in managing own workload independently is beneficial.
