Full Time/Part Time Opportunities (minimum 3 days), Monday – Friday.
We are looking for enthusiastic, GPhC registered Pharmacy Technicians to join developing pharmacy teams to deliver pharmacotherapy services within Aberdeenshire H&SCP. This role involves remote working to support service delivery by local teams of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
The ideal candidates will work well within a team, under direction, and on their own initiative. Through on-the-job support and training, successful candidates will gain experience to undertake a wide range of tasks supporting seamless care, such as medicines reconciliation, Medicines Care & Review, pharmaceutical queries (including management of shortages), and promoting quality, cost-effective prescribing.
You may have a community or hospital pharmacy background or be already working within a GP Practice as a Pharmacy Technician. Good communication, interpersonal, and time management skills are essential. A full driving license and use of a car are also essential.
Postholders will work across a wide area, involving onsite work in GP Practices and remote work from an agreed base. Bases and areas of work will be discussed at interview.
