Job summary

DWF is seeking an NQ Solicitor or Solicitor to join our Major Injury & Casualty team, handling EL, PL and Personal Injury or Catastrophic Loss claims. You will work on a varied caseload in a high-performing, collaborative environment with a strong bonus and benefits package.

The role offers hybrid working from Glasgow or Edinburgh, with support to develop expertise under senior colleagues and opportunities to build trusted client relationships.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience handling own caseload of pre-litigated and Sheriff Court EL, PL and Personal Injury and Catastrophic Loss claims, and assisting more senior team members with large value, complex files.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring cases are progressed quickly and efficiently.
• Strong technical ability with grasp of principles, case law and litigation.
• Work with clients to understand requirements and manage cases in line with SLAs and best practice.
• Prioritise work effectively and maximise efficiency in working practices.
• Build stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
• Develop technical and commercial knowledge via training or working practices.
