NQ Private Client Solicitor – Newport

TSR Legal are currently supporting a highly regarded Legal 500 firm based in Newport who are seeking a highly motivated Newly Qualified to join the expanding and award-winning Private Client Solicitor team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a Junior Solicitor work in a supportive environment, with excellent Partner and Senior Associate support, handling a broad range of private client matters.

As a Private Client Solicitor, you will be responsible for:

• You will be involved in drafting Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), trust documents, and related legal instruments
• Manage probate and estate administration, including obtaining probate and distributing assets
• Advise clients on inheritance tax planning, trust structuring, and asset protection strategies
• Assist with Powers of Attorney and applications to the Court of Protection when necessary
• Build and maintain strong client relationships across a broad client base
• Maintain case files, ensuring accurate record-keeping and adherence to regulatory and firm standards
• Work closely with other departments and colleagues to ensure consistent, comprehensive handling of client needs
• Keep abreast of developments in private client law and contribute to departmental growth

To be considered for the role, our client is requiring a candidate who has recently qualified as a Solicitor, or due to qualify shortly, and has completed a seat within Private Client.
