Job Description:

Our client, a successful Scottish law firm, is currently seeking a Newly Qualified solicitor to join its Planning team in Glasgow. The team handles various planning and environmental matters, including housing, infrastructure, transport, and retail projects.

You will collaborate with senior colleagues and the broader team on planning and environmental matters, including managing a portfolio of onshore wind appeals and Section 36 applications. The role involves significant direct client interaction with key industry leaders, as well as opportunities to attend site visits, planning inquiries, conferences, and other business development events.

Ideally, you will have experience in planning and litigation as a trainee solicitor, with a strong commitment to client service and building relationships within the renewable energy team. A willingness to learn and assist senior team members is essential.
