Job description

Sue Ross Legal is seeking a Newly Qualified Personal Injury Solicitor to join a well-established, highly regarded regional high street practice with over 40 years of experience in providing legal services to individuals and businesses.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and dedicated NQ solicitor. You will handle your own caseload of claimant PI matters, primarily RTA, EL, and PL claims, with support from senior colleagues as you develop your career.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Managing a caseload of personal injury matters from instruction to settlement
2. Conducting client interviews and providing clear, concise legal advice
3. Drafting legal documents and correspondence
4. Liaising with insurers, medical experts, counsel, and other third parties
5. Attending court hearings and case conferences as required
6. Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and in line with firm policies and procedures

What We’re Looking For:

1. A newly qualified solicitor (0-2 years PQE) with experience in personal injury law during training
2. Strong client care skills and the ability to manage a caseload with supervision
3. Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to case management
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills
5. A team player with a willingness to learn and contribute to the department's growth
