A leading UK law firm is seeking a newly qualified solicitor to handle construction contracts and gain exposure to general commercial contracts focused on green energy. This position offers up to £50,000 salary, a discretionary bonus, and remote work options. Ideal candidates should have a solid grounding in construction law and be ambitious and eager to learn from experienced lawyers.
This is a major UK business, and one of the leaders in its field, with several thousand employees, and operating in a highly environmentally conscious sector.
The business is looking to recruit a newly qualified solicitor, to work mainly on construction contracts but with the opportunity to gain exposure to some general b2b (non-construction related) commercial contracts. The opportunity offers a wide range of interesting legal work of a construction / projects nature, all focussed on green energy.
You will be assisting on legal and contractual matters for the construction, operation, maintenance and running of these ventures, interacting with senior stakeholders within the business on what is a major area of expansion. The business already has significant operations in this area and it is a key focus for the future.
This is a superb opportunity for a bright, ambitious, newly qualified solicitor, with an interest in construction law, and ideally a solid training contract seat in construction law, to get involved in a business, taking on a highly interesting and a challenging role with the support of more senior construction lawyers, who are highly personable and supportive.
The base salary is up to £50,000, plus a discretionary bonus and the pension.
The business is headquartered in East Midlands but is offering fully remote.
