I've been instructed on a NQ Employment opportunity in Dundee with a leading Scottish National firm.

This team specialises in both contentious & non-contentious employment law matters for a varied client base, ranging from senior executives to universities, colleges, service companies, manufacturing companies, SMEs and high-tech companies.

Dedicated to providing first-rate learning and development, especially during the first stages of its solicitors' careers, you can expect to gain experience, ranging from but not limited to:

Non-Contentious
  • Advising on all aspects of employment and discrimination law
  • Advisory work, including policies and processes, disciplinary and grievance
  • Assisting with various transactional work including M&A
  • Advising on all aspects of TUPE
  • Employment contracts and service agreements including Non-Executive Director (NXD) and consultancy agreements
  • Providing advice on settlement agreements
  • Skilfully negotiating exits
  • Assisting in managing restructuring processes
  • Handling redundancies with sensitivity and efficiency
  • Delivering training and webinars to clients
  • Drafting blogs and relevant articles
Contentious
  • Assisting in the preparation and defence of Employment Tribunal (ET) proceedings
  • Representing clients in ET Hearings
  • Participating in judicial mediation to resolve disputes effectively
  • Collaborating with dispute resolution colleagues on matters involving restrictive covenants
