About the Court of Protection Team:

The specialist Court of Protection Team provides tailored legal advice and support for individuals with diminished mental capacity, often following traumatic brain injuries. The team prides itself on its empathetic, client-centric approach, focusing on protecting clients' best interests through guidance on deputyship applications, statutory wills, and property & affairs management.

Responsibilities:

• Support experienced lawyers on complex deputyship cases and manage your own caseload.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to secure the best outcomes for clients regarding their private property and financial affairs.
• Gain valuable experience and confidence in this area of law with extensive mentoring and support.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified NQ+ Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in Court of Protection matters.
• Calm under pressure, proactive, and able to support colleagues.
• Strong numeracy skills, accurate work, and comfortable with budgets and accounts.
• Empathetic and confident in engaging with vulnerable individuals and their families.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with a passion for helping clients and creative problem-solving abilities.
