What the Role Involves:

• Handling Care Proceedings and related public law children matters
• Advising and representing clients in child protection cases, often involving legal aid
• Working closely with a team of experienced childcare solicitors
• Managing your own caseload under supervision while continuing to develop expertise in this specialist field
• Preparing documentation, attending hearings and supporting clients with sensitivity and professionalism

About You:

• Newly Qualified Solicitor (NQ) with a training seat in family or childcare law
• A genuine interest in child law and a commitment to this area of legal practice
• Some experience with legal aid work is desirable
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism
